Made from the naturally fallen Banksia pod, a pine cone like seed pod from Australia. These extreamly hard seed pods have cavities where the seeds grow, a felt like layer exposed after turning, and an amazing grain in the pod material. Stunning!

the Fire Mill

The newest design, these mills are made using naturally fallen branches. I carefully burn them on an open fire, cool them, and then apply an extreamly thin hardening finish that soaks deep into the charred wood. This process guarantees the amazing look is preserved and absolutely no material or ash will come off.
