A truly original idea...
Each mill is made of carefully selected sections from naturally fallen tree
branches. Features such as weathering, spalting, voids, and others make each
and every Cottage Mill â interesting in it's own right. Each mill goes through a 23 step process, and is finished with an environmentally friendly water based finish, and the contact areas between the top and bottom sections have salad bowl wax applied for smooth operation.
The pepper grinding mechanisms are made with temperped stainless steel, adjustable from course to fine grind, made by a company that has been making them since 1940, and are guaranteed for life. The salt mechanisms use annodized aluminium to eliminate corrosion caused by salt on metal parts, and use polycarbonate for the grinding mechanism, and are also guaranteed for life (my life :).
Since Mother Nature makes these, no 2 are alike. Each Cottage Mill â is truly one-of-a-kind.
